Conference: Inaugural Conference of the Partnership, LLP and LLC Academic Forum
This one-day conference, supported by a grant from the SLS Small Projects and Events Fund, brings together papers from leading researchers in the law of partnership, LLPs, LLCs and other alternatives to the private limited company.
This is a unique opportunity for those teaching or researching in these areas, or related areas such as company law, employment law or tax, to hear papers from academics, including Professor Geoffrey Morse and Professor David Milman and speakers from the US, Australia, Italy and the Netherlands.
Attendance is free and is open to all, including academics, practitioners and postgraduate students, but advance registration is required: please email Elspeth Berry, Reader in Law at Nottingham Law School, email@example.com.
The conference will also formally launch the Partnership, LLP and LLC Academic Forum, the establishment of which is again supported by the SLS. The Forum aims to promote debate on all aspects of partnership, LLP and LLC law and to further collaboration between those researching, teaching or practising in these areas.
Contributions to the website, which is at partnershiplawforum.org, are warmly welcomed at any time, and may include (but are not limited to):
- Updates on legal developments
- New publications
- New courses or research opportunities
- Conferences and other events
Please email any contributions to Elspeth Berry, Reader in Law, elspeth.berry@ntu
