Intellectual Property

The Intellectual Property Law section provides a forum for members interested in all aspects of intellectual property law. The sections remit is broad covering the more traditional types of intellectual property rights such as patents, copyright, trade secrets, trade marks, design rights and their associated right but also including geographical indications, plant variety rights and the protection of traditional knowledge, cultural expressions and folklore.

The section includes papers on intellectual property issues which may be doctrinal, theoretical, historical or set within a social context addressing concerns at the national, European or international levels.

The section meets at the Annual Conference, where colleagues can discuss presentations and share ideas in an engaging and inclusive environment.
