Best Paper Prize Winner 2021

5th November 2021

The winner of the 2021 prize for the Best Paper presented at the Society’s Annual Conference is Narine Lalafaryan (University of Cambridge/University College London) for ‘Orchestrating Finance with Material Adverse Changes’.

This year’s conference took place under the Presidency of Professor Thom Brooks at Durham University, where Narine presented in the Banking & Finance subject section.

The panel was impressed with the originality and reach of Narine’s paper, which they felt makes an important contribution to scholarship in the field.

We warmly congratulate Narine and look forward to the publication of her paper in the Society’s publication, Legal Studies, in due course.
