The Open Section welcomes three types of submissions. First, if your research does not fit neatly with the existing subject sections then the Open Section is your home. Second, excellent papers that could not be accepted by other subject sections may be accepted by the Open Section (so-called ‘spillover’ papers). Third, if you would like to create a new subject section, you are expected to test the need for it by submitting a panel proposal to test the need for a new subject section (for example, Energy Law). Proposals for new sections should be discussed with the Subject Sections Secretary.
