Seminar: The Principal/Agency Model – Pitfalls, Law and Lessons from Energy?

Wednesday 14th February 2018
AG03, City University of London, St John Street, London, EC1V 4PB

This seminar is part of the Institute for the Study of European Laws Seminar Series and explores the limits of the principal/agent model for European integration in a post-Lisbon context, taking a legal perspective on the phenomenon of centralisation and (re)-delegation of powers seen in the EU 2009 third energy package. The event takes place from 17.00-18.30.

The discussion is placed against the background of the ongoing discussion concerning the Energy Union and the proposals to upgrade EU’s energy agency.

Guest speaker:

  • Dr Oana Stefan, King’s College London
