SLS BOOK PRIZE WINNERS
The Judges were pleased to announce the winner of the 2009 Peter Birks Book
Prize at the Society's Centenary Dinner held at Keele University during the
recent Annual Conference.
First Prize went to Richard Barnes (Hull) with "Property Rights and Natural
Resources" published by Hart Publishing. The runner up was Michelle
Madden-Dempsey with "Prosecuting Domestic Violence: A philosophical
Analysis" published by OUP.
The winners were selected from a short list of six and a total field of
eighteen entrants.
