Conference: There’s more to life… work-life balance, the value of the arts, and well-being

  • Thursday 3rd May 2018
  • the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Russell Square, London

CALL FOR PAPERS: Deadline 23 April 2018.

This one-day conference focuses on the notion of work-life balance (widely interpreted) in the context of universities, and in particular their Law Schools, where an increasing amount of audit increases the challenge of maintaining ‘balance’.   It also seeks to explore the contribution of the arts to achieving the equilibrium implied by the term ‘work-life balance’.

Presentations are welcomed on any topic related to the conference theme, and registrations from anyone keen to participate in discussions. Conventional presentations of 20 minutes are welcome, as are shorter 10-minute presentations.

Abstracts of no more than 200 words, clearly indicating the length of your presentation (10 or 20 minutes), should be sent to r.auchmuty@reading.ac.uk or f.cownie@keele.ac.uk
