Conference: Development Finance in Emerging Markets – Challenges, Innovations and Results
International experts from around the world will come together at this two-and-a-half-day conference (13-15 May 2018) in the beautiful City of Oxford to explore the risks and benefits of providing development finance in emerging marketing and developing economies (EMDEs). Key speakers include general counsel and senior officers from leading international, regional and national organisations, as well as top figures from private practice, industry and academia.
The standard registration fee is £950 but for members of the Society and other academics there is a special rate of £400. This includes attendance at all conference sessions, catering, and participation in one of the two social events, a trip to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon with dinner and a performance of Macbeth and a curated tour of two galleries of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, with reception and dinner. Accommodation with breakfast is available at St Anne’s College and Harris Manchester College, Oxford, at under £100 a night. All members of the Society interested in the programme are warmly invited to register and to notify colleagues.
