Tapton Hall of Residence
Tapton Hall is the most modern of Sheffield University’s Halls and occupies a
quiet and attractive location. Car parking is available on site. The Hall is a
short walk from the other conference venue, the Crookesmoor Building and has
been awarded the English Tourist Board’s National Accessible Scheme Category 1.
It is also within easy walking distance of a wide selection of local shops and
other amenities.
There are a large number of en-suite rooms at Tapton. Depending on demands all delegates may be able to be accommodated in such rooms but priority in allocating en-suite accommodation will be given to delegates booking the full conference and on a first come first served basis. If we are unable to allocate en-suite accommodation to a delegate requesting it on the booking form, a refund of the difference in cost will be made.
Other features of the Hall are:
- Ample parking.
-
On site telephone, fax & photocopier.
-
24 hour reception.
- Licensed bar.
- Delightful landscaped gardens.
Novotel Hotel
For those who do not wish to stay in Tapton Hall alternative accommodation will be provided in the Novotel Sheffield:
http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/fichehotel/gb/nov/1348/fiche_hotel.shtml
Although the hotel is very convenient for the reception and dinner, it is a small distance from the Conference site. We are arranging a shuttle bus for delegates who stay at the Novotel.
You may reserve a room at the Novotel Hotel through the Conference Office when you make your booking.
All hotel bookings MUST be made through the Conference office.
Rutland Hotel: Bookings Before 29/7/4
