SLS Annual Conference 2006 Keele University (Archive)
Held: Monday 4th to Thursday 7th September 2006
This year's conference takes place at Keele University between Monday 4 to Thursday 7 September 2006. The subject sessions will be held in the Chancellor's Building which houses the Law School. High quality en suite accommodation is provided in the nearby Halls of Residence. Receptions and the Annual Dinner will take place in the Victorian splendour of Keele Hall with its lakeside setting. The core academic activity will be the meetings of the subject sections, which now have complete programmes. There are three SLS plenary sessions:- lectures delivered by a former Head of the Keele Law School, Lord Justice Maurice Kay; a former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Keele, the historian Professor David Vincent; and an opening forum on law reform to be chaired by Lord Justice Stephen Sedley. There will be social events on all three evenings.
Bookings and Registrations
Bookings closed on the 28th August 2006. No further bookings will be accepted. However, there may be a few discretionary places still available on the conference thereafter. Please contact Jessica West on 01782 584379 for further information.
Delegates who have registered On Line for the SLS Conference on Thursday 3rd August are advised to Contact Jessica West at Keele Conference Park on 01782 584379 due to problems with the payment provider on this date. All other on line Bookings are Fine and all delegates will receive confirmation within two weeks.
